Many successful entrepreneurs struggle every day with the question of how to exit
their companies in style. For more than twenty years, Harry M. McCabe, MBA, CLU
has guided these business owners through the exit process and the most important
financial decision of their lives.
McCabe worked with private business owners as a pension plan administer and financial
advisor, and he assisted many family owned firms with ownership transfers as a
trusted advisor. Under his uncle’s mentorship, Harry designed
and implemented buy/sell agreements funded with insurance to protect shareholders.
He later founded Retirement Programs Corporation to effectively design and administer
qualified retirement plans. Harry eventually passed management and ownership
of the company to his own designated successors, which included a younger brother.
Through this relationship, McCabe shares the intellectual capital and sophisticated
resources of a national financial service corporation as well as that of The Family Firm
Institute (FFI) and the Business Enterprise Institute (BEI).
Harry takes a consultative-broker approach to address the needs of private business
owners for succession planning, wealth management and asset protection, providing
leadership with a professional planning team to accomplish client goals.
"I draw upon the collective expertise of various organizations to create tailored solutions
for each client without sacrificing my objectivity and client focus,” McCabe
explains. “But I’m especially committed to clients who accept the planning process
and look to improve wealth accumulation plans, prepare for the orderly consumption
of assets and the eventual efficient distribution of their estate."
